Reid has served on numerous public and private company boards in the United States and Europe.  He is currently on the board of Kisimul School Holdings Limited and NxStage Medical, Inc. (NASDAQ: NXTM).  Reid’s previous healthcare directorships include Charles River Laboratories (NYSE:CRL), IVAC Medical Inc., Nycomed Holdings, Nextpharma Technologies and Biopartners.

Select Experience:

Reid brings over 20 years of experience in private equity, as well as strategic and capital market experience, particularly within medical devices, healthcare services, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.  Reid began his career in private equity and investment banking in 1988 with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York.

Healthcare Investment Partners LLC: Reid co-founded Healthcare Investment Partners, a growth equity healthcare fund, in 2004, with Ned Brown and Henry Wendt, the former CEO of SmithKline Beecham and Chairman of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s healthcare private equity arm, Global Healthcare Partners.

DLJ Merchant Banking Partners / Credit Suisse Private Equity: From 1992-2003, Reid was a founding member and Managing Director of DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.  He relocated to London in 2000 and served as Managing Director and Co-Head of European Private Equity at Credit Suisse following its acquisition of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

MCT Advisors LLP: Reid is a co-founder and partner of MCT Advisors, a London based financial advisory firm.
