Health Evolution Partners Launches Purchaser Value Initiative

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – March 4, 2008 – Health Evolution Partners, a manager of health care investments, today announced the launch of the Purchaser Value Initiative (PVI), a coalition of state pension funds and large employers — led by the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) — that will work to accelerate adoption of promising innovations that have the potential to dramatically improve health care quality and lower costs.
