Julie leads HEPIN’s strategy and operations including our conferences, advisory groups and other network development activities.  HEPIN develops proprietary content and collaboration resources that allow our investment teams and portfolio companies to more effectively engage healthcare executives, policy leaders and innovative companies. 

Select Prior Experience:

Manatt Health Solutions: As a managing director, Julie advised clients across multiple health care sectors on policy and business considerations of health information technology and data management strategies. Her unique approach addressed cross-industry interests in the potential for information technology and consumer-centric strategies to support personalized health care.  Julie pioneered industry-leading health IT methodologies, special-interest collaborations, and perspectives on privacy and consumer rights.

Health 2.0 Accelerator: In pursuit of innovation, Julie co-founded and advises the Health 2.0 Accelerator, a not-for-profit association to advance consumer-centric health care by driving integration of technology and the consumer experience across a network of new and established technology companies and health care organizations.

Care Science: As a Vice President at CareScience, a leading provider of care management technology and services to hospitals, health systems and provider communities, Julie focused on the use of information technology to improve quality and patient safety.  She advanced early-stage research of health information strategies that have now become central to the federal strategy and market evolution.
