Reception for Innovative Health Care CEOs and Entrepreneurs

Health Evolution Partners hosted a Healthy Chef Competition at the flagship Williams-Sonoma store on Union Square on January 10, 2011 in conjunction with the JP Morgan Conference. While Health Evolution Partners is 100% invested in health care and the industry’s transformation, the HEP team recognizes the critical importance of good health for every individual. To demonstrate its commitment to health and wellness, Health Evolution Partners assembled some of the Bay Area’s most talented healthy-food chefs to share the best in healthy foods with three hundred guests. 

Chairman David Brailer, MD, PhD was delighted to welcome national health innovators Nestor Plana, Chief Executive Officer from Indendent Living Systems (www.ilshealth.com) who has been instrumental in elevating nutrition for seniors and Kristin Groos Richmond, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Revolution Foods whose company is creating and revolutionizing children’s food and snacks in schools (www.revfoods.com). 

Healthy Chefs Nona Lim, Founder of Cook! (www.cooksf.com), a wholesome, organic home chef delivery company and Sandra Keros, President ofsandrakeros.com and healthy food instructor competed for prizes.  Their collective menu included delicious dishes such as Mini Moroccan Mint Lamb Bites, Baby Roasted Root Vegetable Polenta Bites, Seared Sea Scallops and Dungeness Crab Salad. 

Guests awarded Chef Nona for the “Most Colorful Compilation” and Chef Sandra for the “Most Innovative Creations”. In recognition of their incredible efforts to promote and deliver healthy lifestyles, Williams-Sonoma and Health Evolution Partners gave each Chef a gift card to further their culinary journey. Congratulations!
