Spectrum Fund is a managed portfolio of investments in dedicated healthcare funds diversified by stage, asset class, geography and sector. Funds are included in the Spectrum Fund based upon an allocation framework and reflecting our commitment to exhaustive sector, strategy, portfolio, governance and manager diligence. In addition to making capital commitments to our partner funds, Spectrum Fund selectively co-invests with existing general partners. Finally, Spectrum collaborates with partner funds and their portfolio companies to improve investment selection, company performance and value realization, including membership in Health Evolution Partners Innovation Network (HEPIN).

Cardinal Partners
Cardinal Partners has been one of the leading venture capital partnerships focused exclusively on health care investing since 1996. Cardinal specializes in early stage financing rounds, usually as the lead investor in the initial financing round of a growth company. Since 1997, companies funded by Cardinal have a cumulative market valuation exceeding $6 billion. Cardinal currently manages funds totaling $330 million.
Chrysalis Ventures
Chrysalis Ventures was founded in 1993 to provide equity capital for young growth companies in the Midwest and South. Chrysalis invests primarily in early stage and expansion stage companies in health care services and technology, media and communications, and business services. With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky and a second office in Cleveland, Ohio, Chrysalis has $375 million under management and has made investments in over 55 companies. Health Evolution Partners participates only in the health care services and technology investments made by Chrysalis.
Cowen Healthcare Royalty Partners
Cowen Healthcare Royalty Partners manages an investment program that invests principally in commercial-stage biopharmaceutical products and companies and acquires royalty interests in end-user sales of commercial-stage, or near commercial-stage medical products, such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology products and medical devices. Cowen currently manages funds totaling over $1 billion.
EDG Partners
Founded in 2004, EDG Partners is a healthcare private equity firm focused on the lower middle market. The firm leverages in-depth operating experience and a commitment to integrity and accountability to build value in commercial-stage companies. With $200 million of capital under management, EDG seeks companies positioned to expand via operating improvements, market share gains or responding to unmet demand.
Linden
Linden is a healthcare and life science private equity firm that builds exceptional value in mature businesses. Linden was formed in 2002 as a continuation of a successful investment strategy developed by its principals in the 1990s at First Chicago Equity Capital (FCEC). Linden specializes in traditional management buyouts of independent companies as well as investments in non-core businesses owned by large corporations.
